Kübassaare broadleaf forest
In addition to the 62-acre broadleaf forest that can be found on Kübassare (Hat Island) peninsula, there are also lots of junipers and coastal meadows. The forest here is a relict of the type of forest that existed here in prehistoric times, and it still exists pretty much as an ancient forest.
Additionally, it is important as a nature preserve since 327 different varieties of plants have been found here. Eight of them are protected species, such as wild daphne, wild apple and different types meadow orchids.
